Best places to watch the sunset in Lisbon !

Every mornings for the bravest, or every evenings to stay classic, Lisbon offers us a wonderful and natural show. Indeed, sunrises and sunsets are the most popular (and free) spectacles. Full of colors, you will clearly appreciate them with your friends. It is a sort of meeting point with international students, you share a drink while the sun goes down and then you do not regret the rainy Paris !

But you just can't enjoy sunset from your window, there are many lovely spots where you will completely fall in love with Lisbon...In fact, Lisbon is made of seven hills that offer inhabitants the miradouros. You should clearly guess that miradouros means point of view as the verb mirar in Spanish means to look. After this little lesson of vocabulary (now you already know one word in Portuguese !) let me introduce you my favorite miradouros !

Miradouro de Santa Catarina : If you want to have an overview of Lisbon, the sea, the bridge and the other side of the river, you should definitely choose this location. Most of the time, groups of singers are there, it is a relaxed atmosphere.

Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara : On the contrary of the previous point of view, this place presents you an overview of the city center and mostly of the castle that overlooks the city. The tradition obliges you to order sushi in the little restaurant in front of the square then you can truly enjoy the sunset.

Miradouro de Santa Luzia : Are you searching for a peaceful and romantic place for watching sunrise or sunset ? This spot is perfect for this kind of atmosphere. A view on the old district of Lisbon and on the river accompany with acoustic guitar, love is in the air !

There are also nice rooftop bars in Lisbon where you can appreciate a drink and the sunset, the most famous one for international student and with reasonable prices is Park Bar, one advice, arrive on time or you won't have the chance to get a sit ! Otherwise you can go to the Elevador of Santa Justa, a lift that is part of the charming old pieces of time that you can find in Lisbon. But, be careful, it is a really touristic attraction.
